CTDOT will look to answer this as we work with you to update our state’s long-range transportation plan, Connecticut 2055. Why update the plan?

Connecticut is always changing. The long-range transportation plan is updated every 3-5 years to reflect:

  • Additional transportation needs
  • New travel behaviors, modes and technologies
  • Ability to pay for the transportation system, maintenance and improvements
