The City of Sevierville is proposing roadway improvements in two segments along the Old Knoxville Highway. The South segment is from W.Main Street to south of Gists Creek Road. The North segment is from Pheasant Ridge Road to south of Boyd's Creek Highway. The project includes widening, realignment, addition of a greenway on the south segment, traffic signal replacement at Old Knoxville Highway and W.Main Street, replacement of the bridge over Gists Creek, and replacement of two golf cart tunnels near the golf course.

Currently, Old Knoxville Highway functions as a two-lane rural collector. The planned improvements will enhance vehicle and pedestrian safety and mitigate congestion by adding turn lanes and addressing geometric and operational deficiencies.

Funding Type: The project is being funded by the City of Sevierville.
